Release the tabs on either side of the drawer to remove it completely. Position a shallow bowl under the drain filter. Remove the black hose from its clip, take out the plug, and drain the hose into the bowl. Slowly turn the filter counterclockwise and pull it out.
Remove any visible debris and rinse the filter under warm, running water. Replace the filter by rotating it clockwise.
